Cragg, Siding Spring Observatory); 10, [13 (Overbeek); 10.78, [14.5 (McNaught); 16.08, 10.8 (Overbeek); 16.17, 10.8 (Overbeek); 16.45, 11.1 (Cragg); 16.91, 11.2 (M. Verdenet, Bourbon- Lancy, France); 18.48, 11.1 (McNaught). U Sco has undergone previous outbursts in 1863, 1906, 1936, and 1979 (cf. IAUC 3373).
