reported: Aug. 13.51 UT, 9.4 (M. Clark, Perth, W. Australia, 0.32-m
reflector); 14.15, 9.1 (J. V. Scotti, Tucson, AZ, 0.2-m reflector);
14.16, 8.9 (D. Levy, Tucson, AZ, 0.2-m reflector; tail 10' long in
p.a. about 90 deg); 14.40, 9.0 (T. Lovejoy, Shailer Park, Queensland,
0.20-m reflector; coma diameter 4').  The tail was at p.a. 110 deg on
the Aug. 12.397 plate by R. H. McNaught, Siding Spring Observatory.
