Pollas, CERGA Observatory, Caussols, reports the discovery of a supernova in an anonymous galaxy located at R.A. = 10h18m17s, Decl. = +35 54.7 (equinox 1950.0). IIIa-J Schmidt plates exposed Mar. 7.85 and 11.91 UT show the object at mag about 19 and located 5" east and 1" north of the galaxy's center. SUPERNOVA 1988A IN M58 E. M. Sadler, Anglo-Australian Observatory; and S. M. Simkin, Michigan State University, report the following photometry obtained with the 1.5-m telescope (+ TI CCD and Gunn vgri filters) at Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory, along with transformations to the Johnson system (after Kent 1986, P.A.S.P. 97, 164): Jan. 23.37 UT, r = 14.49, (g-r) = -0.19, (v-g) = -0.47, (r-i) = -0.56, V = 14.35- 14.40, R = 14.01-14.06, (B-V) = 0.00; Jan. 24.38, 14.49, -0.14, -0.42, -0.58, 14.38-14.42, 14.00-14.05, +0.03; Jan. 25.35, 14.54, -0.08, -0.40, -0.59, 14.46-14.53, 14.04-14.11, +0.05.
