SUPERNOVA 1990M IN NGC 5493
    R. Evans, Hazelbrook, N.S.W., reports his discovery on June
15.45 UT of an apparent supernova in NGC 5493 (R.A. = 14h08m.9,
Decl. = -4 49', equinox 1950.0), located 15" west and 4" north of
the galaxy's center. T. Cragg, Siding Spring Observatory, confirmed
the object visually at mag 13.5.

PERIODIC COMET WOLF-HARRINGTON (1990e)
     J. V. Scotti reports his recovery of this comet with the
0.91-m Spacewatch telescope at Kitt Peak, as given below.
The June 14.413 image shows a 10" tail in p.a. about 250 deg. The
indicated correction to the prediction on MPC 13057 (ephemeris on
MPC 16252) is Delta(T) = +0.01 day.
