SUPERNOVA 1989X IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY
According to IBVS 3465, M. Lovas, Konkoly Observatory, has
discovered a supernova at R.A. = 7h23m34s.5, Decl. = +64d00'29".8
(equinox 1950.0), 5".8 to the southwest of the center of an anonymous
galaxy. The object was recorded on 1989 Nov. 30.0875 UT at mag about

PERIODIC COMET HONDA-MRKOS-PAJDUSAKOVA (1990f)
An independent recovery of this comet (cf. IAUC 5035) has been
reported by J. Gibson with the 1.6-m reflector (+ CCD) at Palomar:

     1990 UT R.A. (1950) Decl.
     June 17.42902 22 24 10.48 -13 46 41.5

The best images on the second night show a stellar condensation of m_r
about 21 in a 6" coma with possibly a 15" fan tail around p.a. 260 deg.
The tail is a faint feature, right at the sky limit.
