PERIODIC COMET TAYLOR (1990n)
     J. V. Scotti, University of Arizona, has recovered this comet
with the Spacewatch telescope at Kitt Peak. On Nov. 11, the comet
was diffuse with an 8" coma and indications of a 9" tail in p.a.
about 350 deg. The following positions in close agreement with
the predicted elements on MPC 12136 (ephemeris on MPC 16704):

     1990 UT R.A. (1950) Decl. m1

ZWICKY 229-15
     D. Proust, Meudon Observatory, reports: "I have discovered a
new Seyfert 1 galaxy, Zwicky 229-15 (R.A. = 19h03m50s.8, Decl. =
+42 23'01", equinox 1950.0). The galaxy has been observed with the
1.93-m telescope at Observatoire de Haute-Provence. A spectrum
(range 380-550 nm, dispersion 130 A/mm), obtained with the CARELEC
spectrograph, shows very strong and large H-gamma and H-beta lines,
accompanied with narrow, strong [O III] lines, all in emission.
This galaxy (velocity 7960 km/s) is probably a spiral, masked,
however, by the very strong absorption of the galactic plane."
