West, European Southern Observatory, reports: "Six 5-min B and V CCD exposures were obtained with the Danish 1.54-m telescope at La Silla during Mar. 15.005-15.033 UT. The image FWHM was identical to the seeing (1".4) and no coma was detected to a level of V approximately 24.5 mag/arcsec2. The object is apparently a rapid rotator; the brightness increased from V = 17.80 +/- 0.02 to 17.33 +/- 0.02 during the 40-min interval; B-V = +0.7 +/- 0.1 (accuracy reduced because of the fast change)." J. English and R. H. McNaught report that a more detailed examination of the CCD images mentioned on IAUC 5199 confirms the asteroidal appearance of 1991 DA, as is also true of CCD images obtained by S. D. Ryder with the 1.0-m reflector at Siding Spring; these latter images were reduced by McNaught and Ryder as follows: 1991 UT R.A. (1950) Decl.
