EF PEGASI
     P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany, reports that this apparent
dwarf nova has undergone a rare outburst. Available visual
magnitude estimates:  Oct. 14.913 UT, [13.0 (Schmeer); 15.779, 10.9
(Schmeer); 15.853, 10.7 (G. Poyner, Birmingham, England).

GAMMA-RAY BURSTS
     V. Schonfelder, Max-Planck-Institut fur Extraterrestriche Physik
(MPE), Garching, communicates on behalf of the COMPTEL collaboration
(located at MPE; University of New Hampshire, Durham; Leiden
Observatory; and Space Science Department, European Space Agency,
Noordwijk): "The imaging Compton telescope COMPTEL onboard the
Gamma-Ray Observatory has imaged cosmic gamma-ray bursts on Apr. 25,
May 3, June 1, and Aug. 14 in its 1-sr field-of-view over the energy
range 1-30 MeV. Using Maximum Entropy imaging techniques, direct
mapping of these events results in the following positions accurate
to 1 deg (listed as gamma-ray burst source indicating the date; UT;
and galactic coordinates, l and b):  GRB 910425, 0h37m48s, 229 deg,
-20 deg; GRB 910503, 7h04m15s, 171 deg, 7 deg; GRB 910601, 19h22m16s,
72.5 deg, -5 deg; GRB 910814, 19h14m35s, 95 deg, -28 deg."
