NOVA CYGNI 1992
H. Kosai, National Astronomical Observatory, Tokyo, forwards
the following report from O. Ohshima (note correction to spelling on
IAUC 5234), Kurashiki, Japan: "Nova Cyg 1992 was observed by N.
Ohkura, Senoo, Okayama, using a 0.18-m refractor with a photon-
counting system, resulting in the following photometry and probable
errors on Feb. 20.85 UT: V = 4.63 +/- 0.01, B-V = +0.34 +/- 0.02,
U-B = -0.39 +/- 0.04."
Visual magnitude estimates (cf. IAUC 5454): Feb. 20.753 UT, 4.3
(P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany); 20.77, 4.5 (M. Taylor,
Wakefield, England); 20.83, 4.7 (Y. and R. Kushida, Yatsugatake South
Base Observatory, Japan); 21.267, 4.3 (G. Hurst, Basingstoke,
England); 21.44, 4.6 (P. Sventek, Houston, TX).
