SUPERNOVA 2002ck IN UGC 10030
     W. D. Li, University of California at Berkeley, reports the
LOTOSS (cf. IAUC 7514) discovery of an apparent supernova on
unfiltered CCD images taken with the 0.8-m Katzman Automatic
Imaging Telescope (KAIT) on Apr. 23.4 (mag about 16.8) and 24.3 UT
(mag about 16.7).  SN 2002ck is located at R.A. = 15h47m00s.75,
Decl. = -0 59'25".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".0 east and 18".0
south of the nucleus of UGC 10030. A KAIT image taken on Apr. 14.4
showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19.0).
