SUPERNOVA 2002do IN MCG +07-41-1
     W. D. Li, University of California at Berkeley, reports the
LOTOSS (cf. IAUC 7906) discovery of an apparent supernova (mag
about 16.3) on unfiltered KAIT CCD images taken on June 17.4 and
18.3 UT.  SN 2002do is located at R.A. = 19h56m12s.88, Decl. =
+40o26'10".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 8".2 north of the nucleus
of MCG +07-41-1. A KAIT image taken on May 29.4 showed nothing at
this position (limiting mag about 19.0).

SUPERNOVA 2002dl IN UGC 11994
     T. Matheson, S. Jha, P. Challis, and R. Kirshner, Harvard-
Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, report that a spectrum (range
370-750 nm) of SN 2002dl (cf. IAUC 7920), obtained by P. Berlind on
June 18.43 UT with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+
FAST spectrograph), shows it to be a possibly peculiar type-Ia
supernova. Adopting the NED recession velocity of 4872 km/s for
the host galaxy, the supernova expansion velocity is about 11900
km/s for Si II (rest 635.5 nm). It is very similar to a spectrum
of SN 1999by, about 2 days before maximum (see Garnavich et al.
2002, Ap.J., in press, http://xxx.lanl.gov/abs/astro-ph/?0105490).
     Li adds that SN 2002dl was at mag about 16.7 in an unfiltered
KAIT image taken by D. Hutchings on June 17.5 UT. A KAIT image
taken on 2001 Dec. 7.2 showed nothing at this position (limiting
mag about 19.0).

SUPERNOVA 2002dm IN IC 5017
     H. Yamaoka, Kyushu University, reports the following precise
position for SN 2002dm (IAUC 7921), measured from Sanders' R image
taken on May 13.695 UT:  R.A. = 20h32m07s.30, Decl. = -57o35'03".4
(equinox 2000.0), which is 28".0 east and 11".9 north of the
nucleus of IC 5017.

SUPERNOVA 2002bu IN NGC 4242
     CCD R magnitudes by K. Hornoch, Lelekovice, Czech Republic
with a 0.35-m reflector:  Apr. 2.797 UT, 14.81; 4.833, 14.77;
5.830, 14.83; 7.842, 14.91; 30.949, 15.26; May 7.975, 15.33;
17.012, 15.36; June 14.912, 16.62.
