This probable supernova in ESO 194-G24 was detected with 9 x 10 min images using a clear filter Photometry: Mag 17.14 +/- 0.03 C (R/B for ref; 2MASS) Astrometry: RA 00 31 26.06 Dec -49 35 33.7 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
