This possible extragalactic nova in M31 was detected wth 5 x 5 min images using a clear filter Photometry: Mag 18.42 +/- 0.30 C (V for ref; USNOA2) Astrometry: RA 00 42 28.64 Dec +41 14 12.5 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
