Jingyuan Zhao, report discovery of a possible nova. Image obtained by 0.43-m f/6.8 Corrected Dall-Kirkham robotic telescope at Alnitak Remote Observatories in Nerpio, Spain, exposured 2×200s with Clear filter, around 2024 Aug. 06.1417 UT, mag = 19.7 CV. Observations were made using Alnitak Remote Observatories robotic telescope network, Alnitak Research Telescope Access (ARTA) program.

The object is still bright. In my image from Burke-Gaffney Observatory on Oct. 19.05598 2024 UTC, the magnitude is 18.56 CV.
