Koichi Nishiyama, Kurume,Japan and Fujio Kabashima, Miyaki,Japan report the discovery of a possible nova (mag.= 18.6) in M31 on seven 60-s unfiltered CCD frames taken around 2016 Aug. 30.667 UT, ( limiting magnitude = 20.0 ) using a 0.50-m f/6.8 reflector (+FLI 1001E camera). as follows We report that this star locates 778" east and 613" north from the center of galaxy. Nothing is visible at this location on our past frames taken on 2016 Aug. 24.772 UT ( limiting magnitude = 20.0 ) and Aug. 29.636 UT ( limiting magnitude = 20.0 ) We have checked in Minor Planets. Nothing is visible at the position of possible nova on the Digitized Sky Survey (POSS2/UKSTU) from 1986 Nov 27 (limiting red mag 19.3) and 1993 Oct. 21 (limiting infrared mag 19.0). the nearest star in M31 catalogue (http://www.lowell.edu/users/massey/lgsurvey.html) has position end figures 53s14, 21"5, distance 1".7, magnitudes V=21.4, B=21.7, R=21.1,

U.Quadri, L.Strable, R.Girelli from (IAU Station 565) Bassano Bresciano Astronomical Observatory, Brescia - Italy , in the course of the ISSP Italian Supernovae Search Project, confirm this transient at position: 00 43 53.37 +41 26 21.3 - CV Mag=17.2 - Offset 778E 613N. First image was taken on 2016-09-04 02h 29m 56s by our Newton 250mm F/4 automated telescope.
