This possible supernova in IC 1584 was seen with 6 x 600 sec images using a clear filter. This object was observed by Federica Luppi with a 0.38-m f/6.8 reflector + CCD from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 10 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 19s.86, 35".0 and magnitude 18.5 (CMC-14 catalogue). Nothing is visible in DSS images.
