PSN J01213083+1952451 = SNhunt256. Object confirmed on single 180 second luminance exposure taken remotely with the robotic 0.43m T21 of iTelescope.net in Mayhill, NM. Object measured 19.0 +/- 0.4 with V as reference. Comparison stars are from SDSS whose g and r data were used to calculate V. Image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/watchingthesky/15352942130. S. 2014 10 15.798

This transient was observed on 2014 10 15.79805 by G. Masi and P. Catalano, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 18.8 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 30.74; 45.2 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
