This possible supernova in ESO 353-G14 was detected with 3 x 15 min images using an infrared filter Photometry: 16.67 +/- 0.07 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) Astrometry: RA 01 34 00.67 Dec -34 23 40.5 These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia. L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J01340066-3423404. Object visible on 3x150sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Aug. 31.4147, 2013. Object located at 01h 34m 00s.70 +/- 0".09, -34d 23' 40".4 +/- 0".13 (UCAC-4) with magnitude 16.7U (mag. limit ~19.2m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images.
