Mag.= 15.89w, position end figures 30s.41,38".0 observed by Hidetaka Sato, Tokyo, Japan, on two stacked 60-s images using 0.43-m f/6.8 astrograph + CCD and Luminance filter, 2x2 binned, 1".29 per pixel at Siding Spring, who writes no star brighter than mag 20 was visible at this location on POSS2.

This possible supernova in NGC 6806 was detected with 4 x 5 min images using a luminance filter Photometry: Mag 16.23 +/- 0.19 L (V for ref; USNOA2) Astrometry: RA 02 25 30.47 Dec -25 37 37.3 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
