Pavel Balanutsa report (Atel 4570): MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 03h 38m 55.64s +16d 49m 43.5s on 2012-11-12.96933 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 18.0m (limit 19.7m). The OT is seen in 7 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2010-12-03.84887 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 22.5m. The PSN has 1.3E and 21.8N arcsec offset from PGC1517827 galaxy There is SDSS8 galaxy J033855.75+164940.6 with 3.2 arcsec offset (Rmag = 22.5). Spectral observations are required. PSN detected at coordinates 03 38 55.66 +16 49 42.1 (UCAC3) Magnitude 19.0 U +/- 0.3 . Limiting magnitude 20.7. Sum of 11 x 240-sec images. This possible supernova in PGC 1517827 was detected with 8 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 03 38 55.69 Dec 16 49 43.0 Photometry: 19.14 +/- 0.11 L These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 55s.71, 42".7 and magnitude 19.0.
