This possible supernova in MCG+4-10-24 was detected with 3 x 15 min images using an infrared filter Photometry: Mag 16.33 +/- 0.43 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) Astrometry: RA 04 08 02.41 Dec +23 17 38.8 These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
