This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 12 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 38s.34, 41".3 and magnitude 18.7. This possible supernova in ESO 550-G26 was detected with 3 x 10 min images using a luminance filter Photometry: Mag 17.75 +/- 0.22 L (V for ref) Astrometry: RA 04 21 38.32 Dec -17 55 41.4 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
