Discovered by Yuji Nakamura, Kameyama, Mie, Japan, on two frames (15-s exp. limiting mag. 16.0) using 0.10-m F3.0 refractor + unfiltered cooled CMOS camera. In the previous imaging, nothing is visible at this location on the frames taken on 2024 Dec 19.5303 UT (15-s exp. limiting mag. 16.0) --- Isao Endoh and Seiichiro Naito(NAOJ)

The transient is visible at the unfiltered magnitude of 14.4 in images obtained on 2025-01-10.699 UT with the ED80 8cm refractor + ST-8300 CCD operated at the Astroverty astrofarm in Nizhnii Arkhyz, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia ( https://astrovert.ru/astrofarm/ ). Position end figures 21s.90, 02".11 measured relative to Tycho-2 stars in the field using IzmCCD software. A blue source Gaia DR3 4893014867467569408 (BPmag= 20.6 +/-0.2, RPmag=20.6 +/-0.4) is located within 0".1 from the measured position and is the likely host of the transient. The images are available at http://scan.sai.msu.ru/~kirx/img/TCPJ04272195-2528038/ ---- Ekaterina Saveleva, Kirill Sokolovsky (UIUC, SAI MSU), Stanislav Korotkiy (Astroverty, Ka-Dar)
