This possible supernova in PGC 17166 was detected with 6 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 05 21 26.09 Dec 16 52 58.9 Photometry: 17.58 +/- 0.04 L These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 10 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 26s.07, 58".7 and magnitude 18.0.
