F. Ciabattari, E. Mazzoni and G. Petroni report the discovery of an apparent supernova (unfiltered magnitude = 18.1) on images (limiting magnitude 19.5) obtained on November 8.17 UT with a 0.5m Newtonian telescope + CCD FLI Proline 4710 camera at Borgo a Mozzano - Italy, in the course of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. The new object is located at A.R. = 09h10m08s.85, Decl. = +50°03'39".6 (equinox 2000.0, astrometry with respect to USNO-B1 stars) which is 9 arcsec est and 8 arcsec north of the centre of Galaxy UGC 4812.
