K. Nishiyama and F. Kabashima, Japan comfirmed position endfigures 22s74, 34"7, mag.=16.9U. using a Meade 200R 0.40-m f/9.8 reflector

2012 12 19.600

Mag.= 16.8 observed by T. Noguchi, Chiba-ken, Japan, Position end figures 22s.67, 35".3 on 16 composed frame taken by 30-s exposure each using 0.23-m f/6.3 Schmidt Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD under the limit mag.= 18.5. Position and magnitude were measured using UCAC3. An image was posted at http://park8.wakwak.com/~ngc/images/PSNinNGC3447.jpg

2012 12 20.3171

Mag.=16.3U (Tycho), Position end figures 22s.68, 34".8 (USNO-B1.0), remotely using the iTelescope T04 0.25-m f/3.4 astrograph + CCD (SBIG ST-10XME) at RAS observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A. (H06). Position and magnitude were measured on an image composed from 3-frames which were taken by each 120-seconds exposure under the limiting magnitude = 18.5. Nothing is visible at this location on POSS2/UKSTU (red,1986 Dec.31, limiting mag.= 19.2). Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan.
