We discovered this object on May 01.54 2013 UT in the Tsinghua University-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS),and the magnitude of the object on unfiltered CCD was about 18.1 mag.

We gave a wrong offset in the report, which should be 4.3'east and 7.0' north from the center of the galaxy PGC 037698.

This possible supernova detected at coordinates 11 58 43.19 +19 08 55.4 (UCAC3). Magnitude 17.7 U +/- 0.1 . Limiting magnitude 20.7 Sum of 8 x 240-sec images. This possible supernova in PGC 37698 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 11 58 43.25 Dec +19 08 55.5 Photometry: 18.29 +/- 0.16 L (V for ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia using a 51-cm RCOS and STL11K camera.
