We discovered this object on Feb.18.80 2013 UT in the Tsinghua University-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS),and the magnitude of the object on unfiltered CCD was about 17.4 mag.

This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 15s.73, 25".5 and magnitude 17.3. The correct host galaxy is PGC 43884. This possible supernova in PGC 43884 was detected with 2 x 15 min images using a red filter Astrometry: RA 12 54 15.72 Dec +09 26 25.4 Photometry: 17.07 +/- 0.22 L (R for ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
