We discovered this object on May 06.54 2013 UT in the Tsinghua University-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS),and the magnitude of the object on unfiltered CCD was about 17.7 mag. Checking our earlier images, we found that it can be detected in the TNTS images taken on Apr. 25. This candidate can be classified as a luminous (Broad-line) type Ic supernova according to the spectrum taken by Siverman et al. with the 9.2-m Hobby-Eberly Telescope on May 13.
