Farina.A, Andreoli.V, Ochner.P , Reguitti.A, Balcon.C report the classification of TCP J13560585+3727068. A low resolution spectrum was obtained with the 1.22-m telescope and B&C spectrograph (dispersion: 2.25 Å/pixel) located at the Asiago Observatory (Italy) on 2025-04-27.816 UT. The spectrum shows a blue continuum with Balmer absorption lines, except for Hα (6562.8 Å), which appears filled-up due to emission from the accretion disk. The Hβ (4861 Å) line exhibits a FWHM of ≈1700 km/s. A likely progenitor is identified as DR31495451060634509696 in the GAIA DR3 database (Gaia collaboration et al. 2023) with a g-mag of 17.825 implying a brightness increase of approximately 3 magnitudes (Δmag ≈ 3.5). These features are characteristic of a cataclysmic variable (CV). We propose to classify TCP J13560585+3727068 as a CV.
