This possible supernova in NGC 5936 was detected with 6 x 15 min images using an infrared filter Astrometry: RA 15 30 01.09 Dec +12 59 13.0 Photometry: 18.39 +/- 0.60 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia. This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 4 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 01s.09, 12".9 and magnitude 17.5.
