Discovered by H. Nishimura, Shizuoka-ken, Japan, on four 30-s frames (limiting mag.= about 15) using 200-mm f/3.2 lens + Canon digital camera, who writes nothing is visible at this location on his past frames taken on 2014 Jan. 18.854 and 22.839 UT (limit mag.= 15) using same patrol camera.

Photometry: B= 14.3, V= 14.1, I= 13.5; R.A.=16 16 18.71, Decl.=+11 51 04.4 (UCAC4), remotely using a 0.25-m f/3.4 hyperbolic astrograph + CCD (SBIG ST-10XME) at the RAS Observatory near Mayhill, NM, U.S.A.. Position was measured on an image composed from 3-frames which were taken by each B(180-s), V(120-s) and I(120-s), under the limiting magnitude = 18.5. Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan. Mag.= 14.2, position end figures 18s.69, 04".8 (refer to UCAC4 catalog) observed by T. Noguchi, Chiba-ken, Japan, from a four stacked 30-s frame (limit mag.= 18.0) using 0.23-m f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD, who found a 18.8 mag star located at position end figures 18s.73, 04".7 on DSS (POSS2/UKSTU Red 1987). Mag. B= 14.15, V= 14.02, Rc= 14.07, Ic= 13.75, position end figures 18s.67, 05".0 observed by K. Yoshimoto, Yamaguchi, Japan, from a four stacked 30-s B frame and four stacked 15s V, Rc, Ic frame (limiting mag.=16.5) using 0.16-m f/6.3 reflector + Johnson-Cousins filter CCD. Magnitude and position refer to Brian Skiff's LONEOS photometry; SA 84-332 and SA 84-334 catalog. An unfiltered image posted at http://orange.zero.jp/k-yoshimoto/PNV-J16161867+1151058.jpg.
