A spectrum taken with the Copernico 1.82m telescope+AFOSC by the Asiago-Padova SN group shows that this is a type-Ia supernovae one week before maximun light.

Astrometry: RA 17 19 30.23 Dec +47 42 04.74 (ref stars UCAC2) Photometry: 15.18R +/-0.01 (USNO A2R Ref stars 150,156, 161). Measure using R filter.
