This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 10s.28, 06".5 and magnitude 17.0. L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J17241023+5900069. Object visible on 3x300sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Feb. 22.501. Object located at 17h 24m 10s.26 +/- 0".1, +59d 00' 06".2 +/- 0".1 (NOMAD) and have magnitude about 17.1U (mag. limit ~20.2m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images.
