Discovered by Andrew Pearce, Nedlands, Western Australia, who found this star on three images (limit mag.= 12.5) taken with Canon 800D digital camera + 85-mm f/1.2 lens, writes nothing is visible at the discovery position on three images taken on 2024 Feb 7.844 UT however it is visible at mag 7.8 on 2024 Feb 8.827 UT with the same instrument. Star was visually confirmed on Feb 09.856 UT at magnitude 7.4.

Mag.= 7.1, independent discovered on three frames by Y. Sakurai, Mito, Japan, using Nikon 7100 digital camera + 180-mm f/2.8 lens (limiting mag.= 11.2). Nothing is visible at this location on three frames (limit mag.= 11.8) taken on 2024 Feb. 7.836 UT. This star is located at end of figure 18s.16 and 37".2.
