This transient was observed on 2015 07 07.88688 by G. Masi and P. Catalano, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 17.6 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 08.39; 25.3 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.1" on both axes).

Follow up observations were made by J. Zakrajšek using 60-cm telescope and R filter + CCD from the Črni Vrh Observatory. The image composed of two 120 s exposures was measured by B. Dintinjana. Using 10 comparison stars from UCAC4 catalogue and after converting to Johnson-Cousins system the SN candidate magnitude was found to be Rc = 16.79 +/- 0.03. Correction of the discovery data: The RA offset should be 11W, not 1W.
