Discovered Koichi Itagaki, Yamagata, Japan using 0.60-m f/5.7 reflector + unfiltered CCD (BITRAN BT-21) under the limiting magnitude= 20.0; http://www.k-itagaki.jp/images/6577.jpg. Itagaki found a pre-discovery image of this PSN on a frame taken on 2011 Aug. 4.577 UT (mag.= 17.9) using the same instrument; position end figures 19s.13, 13".9.

Object detected at position end points 19.14, 13.7 (UCAC3). Magnitude 17.8U +/- 0.5. Sum of 20 x 60 sec images. Nothing visible at this location on DSS, although close to galaxy glow. Observer: R. A.
