The transient source was identified at wide-field images obtained with a 135mm f/2.0 telephoto lens + unfiltered SBIG ST-8300M CCD in the framework of the New Milky Way survey operating at the Astroverty astrofarm in Nizhnii Arkhyz, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia ( http://scan.sai.msu.ru/nmw/ ). The discovery images are available at http://scan.sai.msu.ru/~kirx/img/PNVJ19430751+2100204/ ---- Kirill Sokolovsky (UIUC, SAI MSU), Stanislav Korotkiy (Astroverty, Ka-Dar), Nikolay Potapov, Sergei Ostapenko for the NMW team

2024 07 28.8399

The latest non-detection of the transient by the NMW survey was on 2024-07-28.8399 UT setting an upper limit on the transient's brightness at the time: CV>14.5 (The unfiltered magnitude zero-point was set using V magnitudes of APASS stars in the field). No previous eruptions are present in the ASAS-SN data with the latest non-detection on 2024-07-27.49226 g>16.5: https://asas-sn.osu.edu/sky-patrol/coordinate/f677e0b4-1c8e-4def-a901-83d15cd53820 ---- Kirill Sokolovsky (UIUC, SAI MSU), Stanislav Korotkiy (Astroverty, Ka-Dar), Nikolay Potapov, Sergei Ostapenko for the NMW team
