A dwarf nova candidate identified with the New Milky Way survey operating at the Astroverty astrofarm in Nizhnii Arkhyz, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia ( http://scan.sai.msu.ru/nmw/ ). The discovery images obtained with a 135mm f/2.0 telephoto lens + unfiltered SBIG STL-11000 CCD are available at http://scan.sai.msu.ru/~kirx/img/TCPJ21402713+2326213/ Prior to our detection, the object was imaged by the ASAS-SN survey on 2024-05-31.4111 UT at g=11.37 and 2024-06-01.4153 g=11.93 with the latest ASAS-SN non-detection on 2024-05-29.4186 g>15.9 ( https://asas-sn.osu.edu/sky-patrol/coordinate/3f574b58-bdba-4e03-aedc-452ee76f268a ) ---- Stanislav Korotkiy (Astroverty, Ka-Dar), Kirill Sokolovsky (UIUC, SAI MSU), Nikolay Potapov, Sergei Ostapenko
