I can confirm that the PSN (~ 17.3R) is visible at the location indicated from several images of 30 seconds each (limiting mag. ~18.0) taken with a 0.35m Sch. Cass ACF at F7 and SBIG ST10XE camera over the course of 1 hour comencing at 24.48. Greg Bock, Runaway Bay Observatory, Queensland, Australia.

This probable luminous blue variable in NGC 7552 was detected with 6 x 5 min images using a clear filter Photometry: Mag 18.00 +/- 0.15 C (V for ref; USNOA2) Astrometry: RA 23 16 09.73 Dec -42 34 57.4 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
