Kowal has discovered at Palomar a supernova of magnitude 15 in an anonymous galaxy at R. A. = 10h50m.4, Decl. = +14o21' (equinox 1950.0). The supernova is 1" east and 7" north of the nucleus. Dr. J. L. Sersic, Cordoba Observatory, cables an observation by H. A. Dottori of the supernova found by Grizunova in IC 3476 (cf. IAUC 2214).
