Dr. P. Wild, Astronomical Institute, Berne, cables the following
precise positions of a fast-moving object discovered by him at
Zimmerwald (Long. = -7o27'58".24, Lat. = +46o52'40".32, h = 903 m):
1975 UT R. A. (1950) Decl. mpg

10.93612 9 34 07.83 +37 04 18.7 14.5
The object is within 4o of an unpublished prediction, by C. M.
Bardwell, Cincinnati Observatory, for the unusual minor planet 1949
OA, discovered by C. A. Wirtanen at the Lick Observatory in 1949
and not observed since. The prediction has been adjusted by the
undersigned to fit the new observations, with the following result:
T = 1975 Sept. 4.47 ET
Peri. = 140.25 e = 0.0618
Node = 130.18 1950.0 a = 1.3907 AU
