T. Urata (Nihondaira Observatory). 15-cm f/6 reflector. From
   Nihondaira Obs. Circ. No. 631.
R. E. McCrosky (Harvard College Observatory, Agasslz Station). The
first position is with the 41-cm refractor, the second with the
   155-cm reflector. Measurer: C. Y. Shao.
Saito and H. Kosai (Tokyo Astronomical Observatory). Comet diffuse
with condensation. Communicated by K. Osawa.
M. Antal (Skalnate Pleso Observatory). Comet diffuse without
condensation. Coma diameter 0'.7. Poor observing conditions.

The following preliminary parabolic elements, by the undersigned,
are based on the above positions as well as on the rough
observations in early January. It is not impossible that the comet
is of short period.
