     Dr. M. Schmidt, Hale Observatories, writes: "H. C. Arp, A. G.
Willis and H. de Ruiter report that a stellar object of neutral
color identified with the Westerbork radio source 0846+51W1 has
undergone an outburst. V magnitudes are: Jan. 14, ~19.5; Feb. 15,
15.8; Feb. 17, 17.1. The object is at R.A. = 8h46m22s.51, Decl. =
+51o19'39".2 (equinox 1950.0), about 10" south of an
eighteenth-magnitude spiral galaxy."
