Circular No. 3089 Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION Postal Address: Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A. Cable Address: SATELLITES, NEWYORK Telex: 921428 Telephone: (617) 864-5758 V711 TAURI A joint observational campaign on the system V711 Tau = HR 1099 (R.A. = 3h34m.2, Decl. = +0o26', equinox 1950.0) will be conducted at radio, infrared, optical and ultraviolet frequencies during Oct. 6-18. Since the ultraviolet observations will be made from the continuously operating Copernicus satellite, it will be useful if the other observations, particularly those in H-alpha, can be made from all longitudes. Observers interested in contributing to the infrared and optical coverage can obtain additional information from E. J. Weiler, Princeton University Observatory, Princeton, NJ 08540, U.S.A. (telephone 301-982-2633 at Goddard Space Flight Center); radio astronomers shauld contact F. N. Owen, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Charlottesville, VA 22901, U.S.A.
