     In a message from the New China News Agency, relayed by British
Information Services in Okinawa, the Purple Mountain Observatory
(Tsuchinshan), Nanking, reports the discovery of a diffuse
fast-moving object as follows:

     E. Helin and E. Shoemaker, California Institute of Technology,
report the discovery of a fast-moving asteroidal object as follows:

The daily motion is approximately 0o.5 from west to east.
