TWX 710-320-6842 ASTROGRAM CAM Telephone 617-864-5758 COMET RUSSELL (1980o) Kenneth S. Russell, U.K. Schmidt Telescope Unit, reports that he has discovered another comet on an exposure by J. Barrow on Sept. 28. The image, trailed on the 90-min exposure the positions of the ends of which are given below, is sharply defined, with an extended diffuse patch surrounding it. The Oct. 2 confirmation plate was taken by A. Savage. 1980 UT R. A. CYGNUS X-3 N. V. Steshenko, Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, reports that V. A. Efanov, I. G. Moiseev and N. S. Nesterov have registered a radio burst from Cyg X-3 during observations at 13.5 mm with the 22-m radio telescope. On Sept. 25.749 UT the radio flux was less than 0.75 Jy. On Sept. 26.624 and 26.888 UT it reached 8.72 +/- 0.23 and 10.11 +/- 0.54 Jy, respectively. CORRIGENDA IAUC 3515, 1978 P 1, line 7: for 0.0004 kg m**-3 read 400 kg m**-3.
