EDITORIAL NOTICE
The dramatic appearance of comet 1983d (and now of 1983e) has
brought up dramatically the fact that the slowness of the mail
'service' sometimes makes material appearing on these Circulars
useless. We have attempted to counter this by transmitting much
more information than usual to our class 1 telegrams list but regret
that it has been impossible to respond to all the other telephoned
and telexed requests for information on this comet. Any
subscriber to these Circulars is invited to subscribe also to our
telegram/telex service. We are investigating the possibility of
making the Circulars available for 'dial-in' subscribers using
modums; we estimate that a S25.00 monthly charge will be required
for this service, and we solicit now expressions of interest.
