PERIODIC COMET FAYE (1984h)
The recovery of this comet has been reported independently by
two observers, with only approximate positions available:

J. Gibson (Palomar). 1.52-m reflector with CCD camera. Image
essentially stellar, with mag ~ 16.5; longer exposures show
short tail in p.a. ~ 270 and coma. CCD images also exist from
   June 9 and 11.
C. S. Morris (Frazer Park, CA). Visual observations with 0.25-m
reflector. Coma diameter ~ 1', diffuse with slight condensation:
comet had similar appearance when observed on June 27.46.

The comet is evidently quite close to the predicted position,
and the following ephemeris is from orbital elements on MPC 8287.
