PERIODIC COMET REINMUTH 1 (1987r)
     T. Gehrels and J. V. Scotti, University of Arizona, report the
recovery of this comet with the 0.91-m SPACEWATCH telescope at Kitt
Peak. The comet is very slightly diffuse, coma diameter about 15", and
there is a hint of a tail towards p.a. 260 deg. The correction to the
elements on MPC 10524 is Delta-T = +0.02 day (ephemeris on MPC 11864).

UX ARIETIS
     F. Makino and the Ginga Team, Institute of Space and Astronautical
Science, Tokyo, telex: "The x-ray satellite Ginga observed
a 2- to 10-keV flux of 4 x 10E-10 erg/cm2/s from UX Ari on July
23.71 UT. The high temperature luminosity of 1.0 x 10E32 erg/s is
five times the quiescent luminosity and indicates an x-ray flare in
progress. Ginga will make further observations on July 24-26, and
radio, optical, and ultraviolet observations are also urged."

COMET NISHIKAWA-TAKAMIZAWA-TAGO (1987c)
Total visual magnitude estimates by G. W. Wolf, Wellington,
New Zealand (0.06-m refractor): July 10.73 UT, 9.8; 17.00, 10.0.
The following observations have been reported concerning meteors
from the possible radiant mentioned on IAUC 4414: July 20.8 UT,
0.67-hr watch, none (R. H. McNaught, Siding Spring Observatory; G.
Garradd, Tamworth, N.S.W.); July 21.1, 2.71-hr watch, 2 possible,
mag 1 (A. Pereira, Linda-A-Velha, Portugal); July 21.2, 1.10-hr
watch, 2 possible, mag 1.5 (A. J. Noymer, Weston, MA).
